Young tennis ace Stefanos Tsitsipas played an amazing game of tennis at the Australian Open, beating his Swiss childhood idol, Roger Federer.

People were glued to their seats watching what was more than just a game of tennis. It was a changing of the guard, and an emotional experience.

Tsitsipas wasn’t playing just any opponent. He was playing a man he had studied and admired his entire life. In fact, the young gun’s signature shot – the one-handed backhand – was in part influenced by the fact that Federer uses it.

On the court, the audience watched in awe as experience struggled with the sheer energy of youth. And it was youth, not just Tsitsipas, that won in the end.

“I am the happiest man alive!” said the 20-year-old player at the end of the game. “I didn’t lose my patience. That was the key.”

And that was the ultimate 10-year challenge.
