Norwegian Air’s new summer deals are very cheap with tickets starting at $159 for a one-way flight from Athens International Airport to the John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The low cost carrier is adding Athens as a new stop on its transatlantic network this summer. Flights from New York will begin on 2 July, and non-stop flights to Barcelona and Spain will start on 7 June.

It has announced that it would be launching a series of cheap flights connecting Athens to various cities in Scandinavia. These flights from march until October will have prices as cheap as 58.57 euros for a one-way ticket, including tax.

Norwegian Air has noted expansion at breakneck speed over the past few years, but it recently slowed down due to recent financial difficulties. Though it has dropped some routes, it has added Athens as a destination and hopes to hold the line on costs with this decision.
