Milo Yiannopoulos, right-wing provocateur, has been banned from entering Australia following comments he made on social media about the New Zealand mosque shootings.

Australian Immigration Minister David Coleman released a statement about comments made by Yiannopoulos regarding the Christchurch mosque attack. He said the comments made were “appalling”.

Following the attack, Mr Yiannopoulos described Islam as a “barbaric, alien” religious culture on Facebook in the moments after the attack by an allged white supremacist that killed 49 people and injured dozens more.

“I’m banned from Australia, again, after a statement in which I said I abhor political violence,” Yiannopoulos said on social media.
