A nation wide tour of lectures is bringing Professor Catherine Morgan of the British School at Athens to Australia.
The Lecture entitled “Why did the Greeks build temples?” is sure to enlighten Australian crowds about these timeless structures of ancient history.
With the nature and function of the temples changing over time, it’s not so clear as to why Greeks continued with building temples.
The lectures will focus on the Corinthian Gulf and uncover the cult practices of ancient Greeks. All lectures are free for the public.
