Bulgarian man Yuliyanov J Raychev Serafim, 31, denied any involvement in the death of Australian gangster John Macris at his home in Greece last October.

The man who allegedly stalked and gunned down the Sydney gang boss as he was getting into his Smart car outside his home in upmarket Glyfada states that he was on holidays in Greece.

The suspect was spotted at a cafe following Macris, but claims he was simply having an ice-scream.
