Calling all authors residing in Australia, who have written a book in either Greek or English, or both!

The Greek Australian Cultural League (GACL) is running a Book Prize for publications written in the years 2016, 2017, and 2018 across three categories: Poetry, Prose, and History/Study.

Prizes will be awarded to winning books in each category and each language, as decided by the judging panel.

Winners will be announced on Sunday 1 December as part of the GACL’s 50th anniversary celebrations, at the Panarcadian Association of Melbourne and Victoria ‘O Kolokotronis’ in North Melbourne.

Note that only works submitted by their authors will be judged.

As part of each application, authors can list as many books as they would like to be judged, provided that only one book is submitted per year in each category.

Authors are required to forward three non-returnable copies of each work submitted for judging. In bilingual works, it is up to the authors to nominate the language of the publication they want the work to be judged.

The deadline for submissions is Friday 12 July, 2019.
