Greek Olympic champion Anna Korakaki claimed the top spot in the 10-metre air pistol women’s final at the ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol that was held in Munich from 24-31 May.

She scored a total of 241.4 points to secure the gold medal in her category, followed by China’s Qian Wei who came in second with 239.6 points and Korea’s Korean Kim Minjung with 220.8 to win bronze.

Greek athlete Christina Moschi also competed in Munich alongside Korakaki managing to get to 88th place among 136 athletes during the qualifying rounds of the competition.

The ISSF World Cup is a 33-year-old competition introduced by the International Shooting Sport Federation to provide a homogeneous system for qualification for Olympic shooting competitions.
