It was an interesting weekend for teams taking part in Premier Leagues across Australia, with a mixed bag of result. Some of them, like Sydney Olympic, were left with nothing but heartbreak, as they were crushed at Seymour Shaw 3-0 by Sutherland, while others such as Adelaide Olympic or Olympic FC, gave their fans plenty to celebrate, scoring plenty of goals and offering a great time for those who came out to watch their team play.
The South Australian side cruised to victory against South Adelaide, 1-5, while the red-and-whites from Queensland made short work of the Magpie Crusaders, annihilating them 8-1.
Meanwhile, in West Australia and Northern NSW, both Floreat Athina and Hamilton Olympic lost further ground in the title chase, as the Athenians were forced to a home loss at the hands of the Stirling Lions, while the blues were held to a 1-1 draw by Valentine.
