Greek American businessman Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband of missing Connecticut mother of five Jennifer Dulos, has been charged, along with his partner Michelle Troconis, in connection with the investigation into the woman’s disappearance. He is due to appear in court on Monday morning (US Time).

Based on facts and evidence gathered during the criminal investigation, arrest warrants were completed for Mr Doulos and Ms Troconis.

“The arrest warrants were reviewed by a State’s Attorney and a Superior Court Judge, who found probable cause and signed both arrest warrants,” said the police in their official statement revealing also that traces of blood were found at the victim’s rented home in New Canaan, where she lived with her five children.

In the divorce papers, Ms Dulos had accused her husband of infidelity, cruelty and threatening to kidnap their children and take them to Greece.

The estranged husband had denied the allegations.
