The 2012 Xstrata Greek Festival lures the crowds in for a weekend of mouthwatering Mediterranean cuisine, Greek dancing and traditional celebratory events.
Aimed at providing the North Queensland region with a hands on experience of Greek culture, complete with bustling marketplace selling traditional delicacies of olives, cheese, pastas and sweet treats. Watch the Greek dancers take to the stage and enjoy a cooking demonstration showcasing the art of Greek cuisine.
If it’s entertainment you’re after, try your hand at the plate smashing challenge or grape stomping. With carnival rides, side shows and children’s activities aplenty, the 2012 Xstrata Greek Festival guarantees an enjoyable weekend for all ages.
