Enterprise Greece and the Greek Federation of Spirit Producers (SEAOP) are taking a number of initiatives will be taken to promote Greece’s distilled spirits in overseas markets.

One of the initiatives include a national pavilion at the International bar Convention Berlin Exhibition in October 2019 as well as participation in Germany’s Prowein exhibition with a “spirits bar”.

Specialists and mixologists will also be invited to Greek distilleries over the coming months to help build bridges and forge closer relationships.

Domestic producers will try to promote Greece’s signature spirits, such as ouzo, tsipouro and mastic liquor,  as the elements in new bar cocktails.
