Greece’s miserable run in the Euro 2020 qualifiers could not be stopped on Sunday following a 1-1 draw at home.

Liechtenstein, the side that had lost their previous five games in the group without scoring, managed to draw with Greece at the Athens Olympic Stadium. This was a slap to the Greek team as their opponents had lost all previous 19 European and World Cup qualifiers since a 1-1 draw with Moldova in June 2015.

Greece’s Euro 2004 victory is now a  distant memory, following home defeats against Italy, Armenia and Finland.
