A car driver in central Athens shot a tourist bus at 7pm on Monday night (local time). The incident happened following a quarrel over priority rules.

The bus had an unspecified number of South Korean passengers on board and was driving down Vasileos Alexandrou Avenue, near Caravel Hotel, at the time of shooting. The bus driver was in a state of shock following the shooting, however nobody was injured as a result of the incident.

Police allege that the car driver stepped out of his vehicle before shooting at the side of the bus before fleeing from the scene.

A manhunt has been launched to find the suspect.
