Richmond Tigers faced no trouble beating the Giants from Western Sydney in yesterday’s AFL Grand Final.

The 89 point difference needs no caption to tell how the game transpired, with the margin between the two rivals growing wider by the minute.

Tigers supporters, overflowing the stands of the MCG, had already begun their celebrations long before the clock run out of time.

Among those them, many Greeks, including ‘Philellene’ restaurant owner John Rerakis, who had even gone to the point of asking for help from the… heavens above to ensure his team’s win.

Acclaimed scientist Marinis Pirpiris also attended the final with his entire family by his side, cheering non-stop.

Peter Kaliakoudis, known for being a huge fan of the club, couldn’t miss out on such a momentous occasion either.

Overall, the game was took place in front of 100,014 people (according to reports), that were fortunate enough to attend the MCG.

Many more, who couldn’t secure a golden pass to the arena, watched on from the comfort of their own homes as Richmond annihilated the Giants in what was their second success within three years.

Following the end of the game, Tigers’ fans took to the streets of Melbourne to celebrate their team’s success.
