Incredible images circulated on the web this week showing the largest ship ever to pass through the Corinth Canal.
The 22.5-metre wide MS Braemer cruise ship passed through the canal which is 24 metres wide at its narrowest point.
The 1,200 passengers and crew on board the 196-metre cruise ship could literally reach out and touch the walls of the canal as the cruise ship was assisted along by a tugboat to avoid bumps along the way.
The ship, owned by Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, passed through the canal on Wednesday. A video of the spectacular route went viral when it was uploaded on YouTube.
