Kanellos Loukopoulos, an AHEPA member from the region of Akrata, a village of Achaia in the Peloponnese, near Kalavryta, put on his evzone outfit and payed tribute to the 28 October national day in a very unique way.

His group of friends and wife gathered together for a meal, with Mr Loukopoulos dressed in his traditional costume worn by elite light infantry and mountain units of the Greek Army.

“It is our responsibility to convey to our children and grandchildren the values ​​of our homeland, and it is our duty to pay tribute to all those who have sacrificed for our freedom,” he told Claire Gazi of Neos Kosmos.
