Kris Pavlidis has been re-elected to the Board of the Victorian Ethnic Communities’ Council (ECCV) for the next term. She extended her support to all the Hellenic organisations which attended the AGM on Wednesday evening to elect the new Board.

Support included that of Pronia, the Greek Orthodox Community Melbourne, Agapi, Fronditha Care, the Federation of Greek Elderly Clubs, 3ZZZ, and Democritus House, as well as the several other ethnic specific organisations including the Assyrian, the Arabic Social Services, African, Italian, Vietnamese, Sri Lankan and Jewish Care.

“As a proud Greek Australian, it’s imperative we are represented at the table and participate in advocacy that is in the best interests, not only of our Greek community but the overall social cohesion,” Ms Pavlidis said.

The ECCV is the peak Victorian advocacy body representing 220 member organisations from more than 43 diverse ethnic groups.
