41ST DELPHI BANK SEMAPHORE GREEK FESTIVAL

Adelaide’s two-day festival celebrating all things Greek is back for 2020. The iconic Delphi Bank Semaphore Greek Festival will once again be run by over 300 volunteers for the 41st year, who are expecting to welcome over 35,000 people with their famous Greek hospitality. Testament to this was the event being named Community Event of the Year in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield Council 2019 Australia Day Awards. The organisation of this year’s festival has truly shown the volunteers’ commitment, as they have persevered to put on an event that will celebrate the community’s history and collective memory after the recently built emblematic church was ruined by a devastating fire on 6 December, 2019. A family friendly event, there will be plenty for food, activities and entertainment for the whole family.
