The national infection Covid-19 count in Australia has climbed up to 2,806 people with Waverly in New South Wales leading in New South Wales with 105 documented cases of coronavirus.

Waverly, located in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, includes the upmarket areas of Bondi, Bronte and Queens Park. There are a number of cases also documented in Sydney’s northern beaches with 68 cases of the total NSW count of 1,219 people.

In Melbourne, Stonnington Council which includes the prestigious areas of Toorak, Prahran and South Yarra has the highest number of cases in Victoria with 57 recorded cases of coronavirus. Another cluster can be found in the Mornington Peninsula with 36 cases.

Victoria and New South Wales have the highest infection rates in the country and there are fears that the two states could go into lockdown as early as this weekend if the crisis continues to flatten and measures already taken don’t flatten the curve.
