G20 leaders met to discuss coronavirus measures and found that the lockdown laws being put in place in different countries around the world have resulted in many positive results for the planet.

Thanks to self-isolation laws, emissions targets are being met for the first time.

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte outlined that the canals of Venice were now filled with swans and dolphins, whereas Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis pointed to the increase in endangered species such as the caretta caretta turtle on Lagana beach in Zakynthos now that it is tourist-free.

Experts present outlined the positives which working-from-home schemes could have for the global economy under normal circumstances, with workers paying for their own equipment and internet, thus saving countless of dollars for entrepreneurs while also cutting down on time needed to travel to work.

As a result of all these positives, there are plans to extend self-isolation measures indefinitely with data gathered to be presented at a scheduled meeting to take place a year from now on 1 April, 2021.
