The former deputy minister for Greeks living abroad, Terence Quick, is back to anchoring the news following his time in politics.
He announced that he would return to the news desk for EXTRA TV in Cyprus on weekends and Monday evenings.
He Tweeted that he would be back in Athens to fulfill usual “obligations” from Tuesday to Friday.
The former politician had visited Australia as part of an official visit when the SYRIZA/ANEL coalition were in power.
Presenter Nikos Hatzinikolaou was one of the first to wish Mr Quick “success” in his new role, and the former deputy minister responded by posting an old photo with the message: “Thank you my friend Niko. I greatly appreciate your wishes. The News is in my DNA and won’t sit still! Nor will my years interviewing people.”
