After last week’s 10 things you did not know about Sakis Rouvas, you would think that you were now pretty clued in on the singer’s background and quirky traits?

Guess again. As the biggest pop singer in Greece, Sakis not only loves to sing and dance in front of live audiences, release chart-topping albums and host popular music show, he also enjoys dabbling in some acting.

The star has been travelling between Athens and Los Angeles in the hopes of scoring an acting gig.

He has taken acting lessons and already has an agent lined up in La La Land to help him realise this dream.

Making the transition from Greek singer to international actor has proven quite fruitful for the young father who has already been filming in the entertainment capital.

His picture is tilted Duress and will screen in U.S. theatres on September 1.

Duress is a psychological thriller which focuses on the main character Richard who is haunted by nightmares of his wife’s suicide.

The character struggles to mend his relationship with his only daughter who has witnessed the violent nature of the killer Abner Solvie (Rouvas).
