The sense of accomplishment after growing your first ripe tomato or cucumber is second to none.
It may even rival the joy yiayia and pappou get sending you home with a plastic bag filled to the brim with other fruits and vegetables that they have grown that season.
Lock down and COVID-19 restrictions have been tough for many and getting out into the garden can be a great way to relieve some stress and stay active.
We reached out to our loyal readers and asked them to share their garden snaps with the Neos Kosmos community and they did not disappoint!
Take a look through the gallery below and if you have any photos of your garden you would like featured below send them to mariannaa@neoskosmos.com.au
