A Turkish flag was placed outside Greek Australian Health Minister Jenny Mikakos’ electorate office at Spring Street, Reservoir, this morning.
The flag had a number of messages scrawled on it: “F* Daniel Andrews”, “F* the fake COVID”, “F* the police”.
Ms Mikakos expressed her displeasure to Neos Kosmos.
“Our efforts are entirely focused on fighting this virus and protecting Victorians – as they should be,” she said.
“All parts of our community need to be united to fight this virus. With each of us doing our part and keeping each other safe, we can get through this together.”
The matter has been referred to Parliament security.
Police are investigating the issue. There are two CCTV cameras outside the office, and footage can also be obtained from other Spring St stores to locate the perpetrators.
