The Joint Standing Committee on Migration  is set to hold on an online  public hearing for its inquiry into the Working Holiday Maker program  that will be streamed live from the Parliament of Australia website from 12.30pm to 4pm today.

The chair of the committee, Julian Leeser, said the hearing would provide an opportunity from various groups concerned with upcoming agricultural harvest season and the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the available workforCe.

‘In our inquiry so far, we have heard from a diverse range of groups and government departments with a wide range of connections to the Working Holiday Maker program,’ Mr Leeser said.
