Bayern Munich have won their sixth Champions League title after a tense 1-0 game against Paris Saint-Germain in Lisbon.

Former member of PSG’s youth system Kingsley Coman made the winning goal at the one hour mark.

The French midfielder headed the ball into the goals after a clean assist from German teammate Joshua Kimmich.

It was also happy days for Bayern coach Hansi Flick, who led the team to victory after taking over as interim coach from sacked Niko Kovac in November.

This years team had scored Bayern’s second treble win after also taking home the Bundesliga champions bowl, the knockout German Cup and European title seven years ago.

The final started as expected with Bayern taking possession of the ball, but without being able to score early, unlike heir previous games.

PSG could have managed a goal in the 18th minute, when Neymar found himself facing off with Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, but the German deflected the attempt.

Not long after in the 22nd minute, Bayern took opportunities coming close to the goal, but Lewandowski’s shot hit the post instead.

Bayern’s Niklas Sule entered in place of Jerome Boateng, who hobbled uncomfortably moments prior.

Although the Bavarian side were ahead with Coman’s impressive goal, they were determined to maintain their lead fighting PSG fiercely and reduced PSG’s chances of finding openings for their strike force.

Unfortunately for PSG, Mbappe found his way down the inside-left channel, passing to Neymar who turned sharply but missed the opportunity after taking the shot wide.

Bayern’s Champions League season saw them climb to the top, undefeated and taking home the cup once again since their 2013 victory.
