The Greek National Team have left Pristina with a 2-1 victory over Kosovo in the Nations League (League C).

The team is currently in joint first place on the ladder with four points alongside Slovenia, which also prevailed over Moldova in a 1-0 match.

The Greek team started off strong, as striker Efthymis Koulouris drove the ball to the right to Dimitris Limnios, who made the shot.

Goalkeeper Samir Ujkani refused the goal, but in the rebound the 22-year old footballer managed to beat the opposing goalkeeper with a new shot.

John van’t Schip’s side added more insult to injury coming back in the 52nd minute with another goal.

Five minutes after half time Dimitris Giannoulis kicked a high ball into the Kosovo box and straight into substitute Dimitris Siovas’ path and who masterfully controlled the ball before unleashing a left-foot volley for Greece’s second goal.

Bernard Berisha scored Kosovo’s only goal eight minutes before time with a an impressive sideways bicycle kick.

Greece will play Moldova on home soil on 12 October.
