On Wednesday Olympiacos and Omonia Nicosia went head to head at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus for the first leg of the Champions League playoffs.

It seemed like the teams would end on an equalised 0-0 score, but the boys in red came through late in the second half winning 2-0.

Olympiacos dominated the first half of the match, but found it difficult to break through the Cypriot front’s stubborn defense.
