Olympiacos moves onto the group stage of the Champions League after a 0-0 draw with Omonia Nicosia in Cyprus on Tuesday.

The Reds’ first playoff victory against the Cypriot front on 23 September gave them an aggregate score of 2-0 after the recent goalless game.

The Tuesday match started off slow, as Olympiacos absorbed some pressure and had a penalty claim denied in the first half.

The hosts were not able to overthrow the Athenians in the second half either, however Omonia’s goalkeeper Fabiano Ribeiro de Freitas denied his oppositions goals many times.

PAOK hosted Krasnodar this morning at 5:00am AEST but was unable to turn its 1-2 aggregate around after their upset in Russia.

Olympiacos will find out its next competitors in the group stage on Thursday (Greek time).
