From 1 June 2013, the Australian High Commission in Cyprus has stopped accepting all visa applications and enquiries.

In a statement released to media, the Department of Immigration confirmed that Cyprus residents should from now on direct visa enquiries and temporary visa applications to the Australian Embassy in Beirut.

Applications for permanent entry to Australia will continue to be lodged and processed at the Australian Embassy in Beirut or Australia.

Republic of Cyprus passport holders who are seeking to travel to Australia to study, for a holiday or to visit family or friends may also be able to apply for a visa online.

Paper applications sent by post to the Australian Embassy in Beirut should be directed to: Australian Embassy, PO 11-1860 Riad El Solh, Beirut 11072090, while applications sent by courier should be directed to: Australian Embassy, Embassy Complex, Serail Hill, Downtown, Beirut. Lebanon.

Applicants in Cyprus can pay the visa application charge using Mastercard, Visa, Amex, Diners and JCB credit cards. Payments are processed in Australian dollars.
