Victoria recorded its second-straight day of no coronavirus deaths and no new cases on Tuesday, with restrictions set to lift from midnight tonight.

The last time Victoria recorded a death was on 19 October with the state having recorded 817 deaths from 905 COVID-19 related deaths in Australia.

Tomorrow pubs, shops and restaurants would operate with 20 people indoors and 50 outside, however these numbers will increase in two weeks time. It is hoped that the so-called ‘ring of steel’ separating Melbourne from regional Victoria and the 25km travel limit would also be lifted on 8 November.

Limits for indoor gatherings will be announced later today.
