St John’s College was also among the schools whose students achieved great and consistent scores in their final exams.

VCE class of 2020 on their achievements managed to push through a year that has been like no other.

“Our students have not only shown resilience in challenging the social and emotional landscape created by the coronavirus closures, but have faced a year of uncertainty and disruptions to their regular Year 12 program,” the school said in a statement.

Students approached the year with incredible maturity and produced a strong set of academic results, including a median study score of 34, with 15 per cent of students receiving a study score of 40 or above, outperforming 91 per cent of students in their respective subjects.

Furthermore, St John’s College VCE students scored an average ATAR of 77.

“Well done to all our students in achieving their final results – we are proud of you!,” the school’s management said in their heartfelt announcement.
