Greek state TV network ERT has revealed Greece’s Eurovision entry for 2021. Greek/Dutch singer Stefania’s song ‘Last Dance’ has been selected by a 5-person jury to represent Greece in May, following the cancellation of last year’s song contest which would have seen the same singer represent Greece in Rotterdam in 2020.

The entry ‘Supergirl’ is an uptempo track composed by Dimitris Kontopoulos, Arcade and Sharon Vaughn. Artistic director Fokas Evangelinos is well-known for staging a number of Eurovision top-ranking performances will be in charge of the creative aspects of the staging.

The young singer is set to record her Eurovision song on 10 January and the official music video will be released in Greece in February.

Greece debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 and has partaken 40 times with Helena Paparizou‘s My Number One winning in 2005.

From 2004-2013, Greece achieved nine top 10 placements in the Grand Final.
