PRONIA invites all members of the Greek community to attend a free information session with healthcare professionals to talk about the vaccinations against COVID-19.

Participants will have the opportunity to hear from professionals, in Greek language, the latest information about vaccinations.

The session is delivered in English with a Greek interpreter so Greek speaking audience is encouraged to attend as they will have the opportunity to address all their questions and concerns to the experts at the end of the session.

PRONIA is organising the event together with the organisation The Water Well Project, a health promotion charity which provides health literacy to ethnic communities while participants have the opportunity to attend the session in person or online via zoom. To attend in person registration is necessary due to limited seats.

The panel of health experts will cover topics that include:

  • How vaccines are made
  • How was the COVID-19 vaccine made
  • How will the vaccine be made available in Australia?

The panel will also answer vaccine related questions such as:

  • Are they safe?
  • How were they made so quickly?
  • Do they work?
  • Do I have to have it?

When: Thursday 18 February 2021     1:30pm – 2:30pm

Where: Clayton Community Centre, 9-15 Cooke St Clayton (Corner of Centre Road) Library meeting room or at PRONIA, 7 Union St, Brunswick
