The Greek Community of Darebin and surrounds has hosted a group for traditional dancing for 11 years now, welcoming Greeks along with people of different ages and heritage.
They have had people from Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Holland and Australia join in on the fun. However due to the coronavirus pandemic, they have been deprived of their gatherings for several months.

In the spirit of reviving the group, secretary Andreas Mylonas and director of the band Anastasia Sarakini sent an invitation to all members to attend a lunchtime meeting on Monday, 22 February at the popular Greek-run Degani Northcote.
Members of the group rejoined their friends with delicious food, drinks and coffee, looking to the year ahead with hopes they will be back on their feet dancing again soon.
