English singer and performer George Michael has suffered permanent damage from his near-fatal car crash.
The 50-year-old singer this week revealed a huge scar on the back of his head and a large scar on his left elbow – a horrific reminder of the motorway accident that very nearly killed him.
In May this year, Michael was involved in a car accident that saw him fall out the passenger seat of a Range Rover on a busy M1 motorway near St Albans, close to London.
He was airlifted to a specialist trauma hospital with a serious head injury and has suffered permanent brain damage.
Michael is now said to be “on the mend” and is maintaining positive spirits following the tragedy.
