Ross Alatsas has kept his appointment of Deputy Chairperson of the Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC) after the Minister for Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship Nicholas Kotsiras announced the appointment of three new commissioners to the VMC, this week.
“These new appointments ensure that the VMC will continue to provide a strong voice for Victoria’s diverse communities, with commissioners coming from a wide range of cultural, linguistic, religious, as well as social and professional backgrounds,” Mr Kotsiras said.
The appointment of three new commissioners, including a youth commissioner, follows a recruitment and selection process which considered a large number of expressions of interest.
