Following a win against Daniel Evans of Britain Stefanos Tsitsipas takes on Andrey Rublev for the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters title.

The Greek star and his Russian opponent are not only fighting for the glory of the title; the winner will also head the FedEx ATP Race To Turin leaderboard for a place at the Nitto ATP Finals on Monday.

Sixth seed Rublev has already beat current leader Novak Djokovic stating that what helped him succeed in his first Masters 1000 final was “keeping a tight lid on my emotions” following his loss in Miami.

“That’s why I lost [in Miami], because of my emotions. In the end if you want to learn, you will improve this. I hope I want to learn and I want to improve,” Rublev said.

“That’s why I’m doing better. Of course, it’s not easy. [In] some matches [there] will still be up and downs.”

Meanwhile, fourth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas whohas swatted aside unseeded Dan Evans 6-2 6-1 to reach the Monte Carlo Masters final for the first time and stay on course for a first title this year.

Tsitsipas, a French Open semifinalist last year, broke his serve five times and remains on track for a sixth career title.
