The Greek Orthodox Easter resurrection service on Holy Saturday will be moved to 9 pm and held at church courtyards, following a decision of the administrative body of the Church of Greece on Tuesday.

Resurrection services will follow, and these will be held inside the church according to an announcement of the Permanent Holy Synod.

All Easter services from Palm Sunday (25 April) to Holy Wednesday (28 April) will begin half an hour earlier, at 6.30 pm, the Synod announced.

The service on Holy Thursday service will begin at 5.30pm and at 6pm on Friday.
