The weekly “Multicultural AFL Footy TV Show”, which airs on a number of television and radio channels across the country and on a Youtube channel, has been nominated in two categories for the national Antenna TV Awards that will be broadcast from The Edge at Federation Square in Melbourne on May 28.

The cast of broadcasters which have been on the show that is aired in a number of languages includes Vanessa Gatica (Mexico), Harbir Singh Kang (India), Gabriel D’Angelo (Uruguay), George Grosios (Greece) and Fouad Andrawos (Egypt), and is soon to be joined by AFLW Tigers star Akec Chuot.

Congratulations are due to Russell Anderson,the CEO of the National Ethnic and Multicultural Broadcasters’ Council (NEMBC) and the show’s producer and director Fiv Antoniou. The show’s sponsors include sponsors the Australian Football League (AFL) and the Community Broadcast Foundation (CBF).

“You can watch the program weekly on C31 (D44) Melbourne and Geelong at 7.00 pm on Thursdays, in Adelaide on Channel 44 Friday evening at 7.00pm, on Aurora-Foxtel TV at midday on Saturday and on the NEMBC’s You Tube AFL” Mr Antoniou told Neos Kosmos.

“You can also listen to the Multicultural AFL Footy Show podcast on the Community Radio Network and the AFL Diversity language News on national Multicultural radio stations.
