The launch of Antipodes (Vol. 59, 2013), the Greek-Australian Cultural League periodical that has been circulating in the broader Australian community and overseas for 40 years and is the longest circulating Greek Australian periodical, will take place on Sunday 6 October.
This year the periodical will pay tribute to academic Dr Maria Herodotou for her dedicated contribution to the Greek letters, history and culture in the Greek Australian community.
The periodical will be presented by Dr Christos Fifis and Mr Kyriakos Amanatides. At the same event, the results of the GACL Literary Competition 2013 will be announced.
