Palace Cinemas are releasing two Greek films Bank Bang and Kiss of Life.

Bank Bang is about a normal guy, Michalis, who finds himself between a rock and a hard place, socially, professionally and emotionally.

His positive attitude towards life doesn’t really work in the relationship with his brother Nondas a wannabe master criminal.

Nondas’ dealings force Michalis into crime (bank robberies) when at the same time Michalis desperately tries to have an affair with a covert policewoman assigned to bank robberies, with personal problems of her own.

Excellent plot, clever dialogues, and great cinematography add up to a great movie.

Kiss of Life is a romantic comedy with well-rounded characters and great dialogue. There are the opposite characters, series of mishaps and mystery subplots to keep the interest bubbling.

The major asset of the film is it’s cast, since the leading stars deliver brilliant performances. The second asset is the picturesque scenery: the breathtaking Sifnos landscapes. If you love romantic comedies, this is your film!

Kiss of Life: October 8 to October 14 and Bank Bang: October 22 to October 28 at the Palace Cinema Como.
