Kate Winslet took out top place for Best Red Carpet; Reese Witherspoon was awarded Best Short Dresses; Cameron Diaz got the award for Best Jeans and everyone’s favourite first lady, Michelle Obama, took out the award for Best Accessible Glamour.
  • Lindsay Lohan caused a stir at New York Fashion Week, the star apparently flew into a rage at the G-Star runway show when she realised she’d been given terrible seats. Onlookers allege she began pulling out cards reserving places for other guests, including Juliette Lewis and Taylor Momsen, and threw them on the floor.
  • The British Royal College of Psychiatrists has warned the London Fashion Week acts as a showcase for underweight women. Members of the college are concerned over a lack of medical checks for models at London Fashion Week and claim that the fashion shows and photos of the models promote eating disorders.
  • Elizabeth Taylor is lending her timeless style to a fashion show that raises money and awareness for HIV and AIDS. The 77-year-old actress says she plans to attend the Macy’s Passport fundraiser to show support for the event she helped establish 27 years ago. The event, which is open to the public, has raised more than $28 million for HIV/AIDS research, treatment and prevention.
