Activist organisation and retail chain The Body Shop and music television franchise MTV have teamed up to mark the beginning of a global campaign against HIV and the AIDS epidemic named YES TO SAFE SEX.
MTV Greece has also become involved by holding a street event in Athens at The Body Shop store on Ermou last Tuesday.
The campaign aims to raise awareness on preventing the spread of HIV and AIDS by promoting a tantalizing Lip Butter with all proceeds from sales going towards the global cause.
The street event in Athens signified the beginning of the campaign and featured MTV Greece VJs Alex and Navsika and a hoard of live entertainment including live beat boxers Word of Mouth and performances by Greek pop artists C: Real, Matisse, Christos Hatzinasios and Myron Stratis.
