The National Union of Greek-Australian Students (NUGAS) launched their national publication, Epithemus, and their Victorian affiliate publication, Paradigm at the Hellenic Museum on Thursday.

“We hope that the publications will open and encourage conversation between all members of NUGAS, by giving them a physical medium with which to formally discuss issues which are important to them,” said NUGAS media officer, James Calligeros.

“This will create memories and legacies for the future and future generations.”
The current issue of Epithemus covers a variety of issues.

Some of the articles educate students on pressing Greek issues such as modern Greek education at tertiary institutions within Australia, whereas others include reports from the various states and various NUGAS events.

The national magazine is intended to be published annually.
