Last Monday George Lekakis, Chairperson of Victorian Multicultural Commission launched Vasili’s 101 See Ways to Grow It and Eat It at the Munro Street Garden Centre in Coburg.

Along with the launch there were demonstrations of handy tips, food cooked straight from the book, as well as the deft hand of Vasili on his piano accordion.

Vasili grew up above a fish’n’chip shop in Keilor Park, where he helped his father cultivate a massive garden on a block in Coburg.

Nothing Tastes Better: Vasili’s 101 Ways to Grow It and Eat It  is published by Wilkinson Publishing.
