Neos Kosmos sent its photographers – Peter Kakalias and Kon Deves – out across Melbourne to capture the spirit of Greek Orthodox Easter in 2010.

Our photographers spent the weekend at the Monastery of Panagia Kamariani at Red Hill, St Pantaleimon in Dandenong, St Anargyri in Oakleigh and St Eustathios in South Melbourne to give you a flavour of what Easter was like for the thousands of Greek Orthodox who marked the Holy Week.

The Kakalias and Dimopoulos families also opened their houses and invited our photographers in so that we can get a taste of the lunches which had Melbourne smelling of lamb, lemon and oregano on a warm and sunny Easter Sunday.
