Emmanuel Lambou has raised $3690 just by not shaving for a month.

Every new donation, you know it’s going to a good cause.

Throughout the month of Movember, Neos Kosmos has been following Emmanuel’s hairy adventure.

In the first week of November, he said he initially hoped to raise $300.

When we spoke to him a week later, he was up to $815.

Now, with nearly $4 000 in the bank, Emmanuel says he’s enjoyed the month-long upper lip tickle.

“It’s hard not to enjoy it, because you’re doing something for a good cause,” he said, with particular thanks to his sponsors, Meltemi Greek Tavern, Richmond Oysters and George Tsigounis.

“Every new donation, you know it’s going to a good cause.”

Movember is a worldwide movement, which encourages men to grow moustaches over the month of November to raise money and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men.

Money raised throughout the month goes to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue – the national depression initiative, as well as the Movember Foundation.

Emmanuel said he’s he’s planning on shaving off his mo over the weekend, but last-minute sponsors can still jump onto his Movember page and donate.
