Three Greek businesses have been nominated for the Rockdale City 2011 Business Excellence Awards. The awards are celebrating five years of recognising the vision and work of businesses in the City of Rockdale.
The businesses nominated include Euro Bar and Bay Vista both in Brighton Le Sands. Parea Greek Tavern in Sans Souci is one of the new business finalists as a business operating one year or less.
The event, which is also run by a Greek Australian, will take place in the elegant surrounds of The Grand Roxy at Brighton Le Sands at 6:30 pm on Friday the 26th of August.
Tickets are now available for $90 and need to be purchased before the 16 of August.
The 2011 Business Excellence Awards provide local businesses with an opportunity to be recognised for their outstanding efforts in business, customer service, presentation and commercial initiative.
Mayor Bill Saravinovski, says “Rockdale Council is committed to a prosperous and flourishing city. The vision and hard work of our local businesses contributes to a better future for our City every day.”
Entertainment on the evening will come from Australia’s Premier Song and Dance Man and internationally renowned performer Wayne Scott Kermond.
