Rockdale City Council presented a cheque of $5000 to the Organisation of Hellene and Hellene Cypriot Women of Australia (OEEGA NSW) in order to help them with their fundraising work for the Children’s Cancer Institute of Australia.

“I am proud that Council is supporting OEEGA’s fundraising efforts. We are all aware of the devastating effects cancer has on people’s lives. Rockdale City Council thanks the Women of OEEGA NSW for their continued support of the people in our community,” Mayor Bill Saravinovski said.

The Children’s Cancer Institute of Australia is researching to find the cure for childhood cancers. Its vision is to save the lives of all children with cancer and eliminate their suffering.
